Class description
This is a casual 5-day course introducing you to the use of upholstery leather as a decorative feature of furniture. You will make a spiffy side table with one drawer that will allow you to learn and practice basic woodworking and leather work. The image shown is representative of the type of work that will be done in this class, not the actual piece.

leather skiving tool (this one or similar)
measuring tools, including 12” metal rule
marking gauge
tape measure
block plane or small hand plane
small metal square
small dovetail saw
assorted wood chisels
wooden mallet
basic woodworking hand tools (if you have them)
utility knife and blades
ballpoint pen
pencils and notebook
sharpening stone (water stone or similar)
